A bit of Welsh support -cymru am byth

So the quarter finals are here and we have Wales left to fly the UK flag.


Sitting in front of the TV on Friday?? Sat in your camper van listening on the radio- old style rocks!! whatever way you are supporting then why not have a half time snack courtesy of Wales - Camper van Welsh Rarebit!!



225g grated, strong cheese such as the Dragon Vintage Special Reserve Cheddar from South Caernarfon Creameries near Pwllheli!!




1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 level teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons flour
Shake of pepper
4 tablespoons beer, Guiness or milk (Try the North wales Brewery Stout!!!)



Bread for toasting



As you know on the majority of vans the grill is slightly worse than useless! So I use my toaster - see pic



In a bowl mix all the ingredients apart from the bread! together
Toast the bread using the above mentioned "toaster!
Place all the ingredients in a pan and slowly mix until melted - place on top of the toast and then with your small kitchen blow torch - or risk the grill , brown the top of the rarebit
